One of our favorite finds at January Market was the stunning prints from Natural Curiosities. Founded by Christopher Wilcox, a former antiquarian book dealer from London, Natural Curiosities transforms old manuscripts, natural forms, mounted butterflies and vintage prints into breathtaking works of art. What we particularly like about these pieces is the impact of their size and their gorgeous frames. We fell in love with these from French textile artist Paule Marrot…
And the graphic quality of this duo is amazing…I think the tiger found a home in my son’s bedroom…
The Natural Curiosities staff in the booth were so helpful and we talked about finding an elephant print for a project. It’s an amazing group of artists and you can see that they love what they do, just check out their space in LA…
Every piece is hand made in the studio…
And we couldn’t agree more with their mantra…
Although the pieces are handmade they are quite reasonable to own. We will be placing and order soon, like the tiger for my son the Clemson fan, and one of the Paule Marrot’s prints for a dining room. Just let us know if we can order one for you!
