After looking at the trends from markets this year, it’s apparent that “pretty” is back in style and we couldn’t be happier. While the whole industrial, reclaimed wood look is interesting, and even appropriate if you’re a broke barista living in Brooklyn, the aesthetic is not particularly inviting or even comfortable. Have you ever dined on a reclaimed table? Splinters are a staple of every meal.

Colors, fabrics and finishes set the tone for your home and that’s why we like to use soft, lovely velvets, sumptuous colors and glimmering finishes to create an environment that’s beautiful and comfortable. Just take a look at this gorgeous chair we found at market….

The velvet is so soft and simply beautiful and we’ll have a similar pair in the studio soon. We also found this lovely little settee and those amazing lamps on the console…

Speaking of antiques we love the black and gold glamour…
