The Forecast: 2 themes and 46 colors that will define the new season
We’re headed to High Point this weekend and just previewed the Spring 2017 Color Forecast. We’ll be on the look out for visual inspiration and color palette direction so we can help you incorporate these major home interiors trends for Spring 2017. Presented in two key themes and segmented by product market, the forecast features 46 hues you can mix and match to create your own color stories.
Cove, evoking the tranquility of coastal living
Warm espresso, sienna, and tawny brown create a sophisticated base for a duo of soft feminine corals. Dewey blues and misty grey subdue deep tones of midnight blue and charcoal while lending complexity to pale sandy hues. Light olive enriches understated neutrals, while periwinkle creates a moment of clean modern contrast.
Old Havana, a fusion of old and new worlds
Sun faded pinks and corals uplift deep shades of palm leaf green, teal, and tobacco leaf. Chili pepper red and golden yellow energize floral tones of orchid, bougainvillea, and lilac. Azure blue recalls the placid calm of the Caribbean Sea while chalky yellow and pale avocado conjure Old Havana’s retro sensibility.
